About Black Ink Books
Hi - I’m Isabella, the owner of Black Ink Books.
I started this business because too many small business owners are running successful companies while feeling completely disconnected from their finances. Their books are behind, confusing, or held together with duct tape - and they’re expected to just figure it out.
That never sat right with me.
A little about me (and how this business came to be)
I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and over six years of hands-on experience providing bookkeeping services like the ones I now offer my clients - monthly bookkeeping, AR/AP management, financial reporting, payroll coordination, and working directly with CPAs.
More importantly, I understand how small businesses actually operate.
Clean books matter. Clear communication matters more. And vague expectations help absolutely no one.
Black Ink Books was built to be structured, proactive, and human.
Outside the numbers
Outside of Black Ink Books, I’m a wife, mom, and dog mom with a big personality, a strong appreciation for systems that actually work, and a love for strong coffee.
I’m direct, detail-oriented, and not afraid to say when something needs attention - because that’s how businesses stay healthy. My clients don’t just get clean books; they get clarity and consistency they can rely on.
Who I work best with
Black Ink Books is a great fit for business owners who value accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication.
My clients typically want organized books, defined expectations, and a long-term bookkeeping partner - not a quick fix.
If you’re ready to outsource bookkeeping properly and work with someone who takes ownership of the numbers, we’ll probably get along very well.
